SEASON’S GREETINGS!

What a wonderful season to be grateful for our many treasures.  Our Bethesda, MD podiatrists are so grateful for our wonderful clients. Our staff from the office staff to the technicians to our physicians with you the warmest of season’s greetings.

The Podiatry Center has been rated one of the leading podiatry office in the Bethesda, MD area and that is a great honor and privilege we don’t take for granted.  With the holiday season upon us, we wanted to be sure to give you some great tips to keeping Happy Feet during this Holiday season.

STEP 1: HOW HAPPY ARE YOUR FEET?

Holiday shopping, decorating, parties and traveling are all part of our holiday routines. You may be doing a lot of walking, dancing, standing and sitting in one position throughout the holiday season.  Be sure to care for your feet so they can carry you through all those seasonal celebrations and chores.

STEP 2: THE 2 M’S: MOISTURIZE & MASSAGE YOUR FEET

Dry winter air and cold temperatures can take a toll on skin. Moisturize feet daily to help avoid dry, cracked and irritated skin. Foot rubs not only feel good, they are great ways to release tension, boost circulation and refresh skin after a long day on your feet!

STEP 3: WEAR SMART SHOES

While you don’t have to give up the sparkly heels entirely when it’s time for that fancy part. But for the other holiday activities such as shopping, traveling or cooking, ditch the heels and go for a reasonable shoe that offers support to your entire foot. When you will be on your feet all day, wear comfortable shoes with good arch support and padded sole.  Contact our offices at any time for preferred footwear options.

STEP 4: GET HELP

Always remember, our Bethesda podiatrists are here to help! You are our #1 priority.  Not just during the holidays, but year-around.  Feet shouldn’t hurt all the time. Persistent foot pain can be an indication of injury, irritation or illness.  Call our offices if you experience pain; don’t wait until the holidays end!

At this joyous time, we take special pleasure in wishing you a Happy Holiday Season. Serving you is a sincere joy! Happy Holidays from all of us at The Podiatry Center in Bethesda, MD.
